The Nike Air Jordan 1 is for sure one of the most recognizable and desired shoe silhouettes, and it has nothing to do with the hype surrounding it from at least 3 years ago for whatever reason.

We're talking about something much deeper because of the simple fact that this shoe is part of an important basketball history aspect.

Created by sneaker designer Peter Moore in 1985 with the idea that Michael Jordan, already considered the best basketball player in the world, could wear it on the court, it didn't take long for the shoe to become somewhat mystical, especially because those who saw Jordan playing and flying wanted to feel the same way.

Some colors of the Air Jordan 1 Hi '85, such as Bred, Black Toe and Bred Toe became very well known in the world of basketball, sneakers and fashion in general for being the pair of shoes that 'the man himself” wore, but none were as iconic when Jordan showed up in court with the Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 Chicago, which had the same colors as the Chicago Bulls uniform, his team at the time.

The Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 Chicago marked generations to come, and that's why it was re-released in 1994, 2013 and later in 2015 and who knows, according to some rumors, the same color could be released once again later this year with the same characteristics of the first model from 1985.

The classic and timeless model is sure to be severely disputed by all Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan fans, and of course, it won't sell for the same $65 it did about thirty years ago.
